The Kansas City based Metropolitan Ensemble is a Flute and Strings trio made up of full-time professional performers with years of experience. Their repertoire is extremely diverse. From formal concerts to weddings and parties, the ensemble has the experience and music to suit any kind of event. The
Trio has performed together since 2000 throughout the Kansas City Metro
area. Dana, Mark and Monty have played together in the St. Joseph Symphony
together for 7 years, and played in other groups such as the Starlight
Theater Orchestra. In 2004, they were invited to perform a full holiday
concert at the Kemper Museum of Modern Art and Design. "We
had the honor and privilege of having the Metropolitan Ensemble play at
our daughter's wedding. Their music was beautifully superb and professionally
done. All the musicians are highly qualified and experienced. I myself
am a church musician, so I know a little something about music. I really
had no qualms at all when we contracted with them. I had listened to the
samples and had read their background information, so I knew they would
be perfect. When something is good, you just know it. It was very easy
to work with Dana in the selection of music and she was very amenable
to including a particular piece I wanted in the prelude. I think they
could play about anything. I would highly recommend this group, especially
if you are looking for high quality and classical music. This is one area
in which there was no wedding stress for us. We could not have asked for
anything more." |
