Dana Woolard Hughlett,
Cellist, earned a Master of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory. She is the principal cellist of the St. Joseph Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the Kansas City Lyric Opera, Liberty Symphony, Northland Symphony, Medical Arts Symphony, and the Starlight Theater Orchestra in 2005 and 2007. She has played with Rod Stewart at Sandstone/Verizon Amphitheater in 2001, and at the Sprint Center with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2007. She has been heard on NPR with the Gilham Park Orchtet and Inspiration Point Opera Festival Orchestra, and on numerous recordings, including a Grammy nominated band, Lusk.
She has performed chamber music in Siena Italy, Switzerland, several festivals in the US, and most recently at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in 2007. She maintains a large private studio and is on the faculty of the Illinois Wesleyan University Summer Cello Camp. She is a member of the Kansas City Federation of Musicians.

Monty Carter, violinist and violist, earned his Bachelor and Master degrees in music performance from the UMKC Conservatory and the Louisiana State University School of Music, respectively. He now teaches violin and viola studies at William Jewell College, Missouri Western State College, and Kansas City Kansas Community College. Monty is Principal Violist of the St. Joseph Symphony and the Liberty Symphony & Chamber Orchestras, violist of the Jewell String Trio, and violinist/vocalist in the Carray Duo. Carter performs regularly in concerts and recitals throughout the region. He is a member of the Kansas City Federation of Musicians.


Mark Cohick, oboe, flute, saxophone, clarinet, has been a freelance woodwind player in Kansas City for over twenty years. He has performed with the Kansas City Symphony, Ballet, Opera, Camerata and Chamber Orchestra, as well as Starlight Theater. He has also performed with the Theater League and Missouri Repertory Theater productions, and has toured Europe with several Broadway shows. He is a member of the Kansas City Federation of Musicians.
